Tanglewood farm, in business since 2003, has grown from the initial four alpacas to the current 18 in a rainbow of colors.. You will find, not only alpacas, but also products hand made of the awesome fiber that they produce, such as hats, scarves, socks, dog beds, dog/cat toys, dryer balls, and now rugs made with our alpaca fiber. All of the products except for the famous alpaca socks, are made here on the farm. We also have dyed alpaca batts for those who want to felt, as well as clean, washed and carded fiber for spinning. Stop in and see why Alpacas are such good livestock to own. We also provide alpaca manure that will make your plants bloom and grow like crazy.

If you are looking for that special gift, be sure to visit us at the Top Knot, our farm store at Tanglewood Farm or look for us at the Clinton County Farmer's Market in Wilmington, just in front of the General Denver Hotel every Saturday morning from 8:30 to Noon.

We are downsizing our herd, and. Our female herd is down to two. Ebony had a beautiful male in August of 2018 and Avia had a lovely fawn female ttwo weeks later. We have some exceptional males that we will use for outside breedings. This is your chance to get your hands on some really nice females with outstanding pedigrees----at great prices. All of our females have proven themselves to be excellent mothers, and usually take at the first breeding. If you want your female bred, we can do that. In addition, for any alpaca purchased from us, we provide free transport to your farm if you are within 200 miles. Additional mileage will require per mile gas and any lodging needed.

Tanglewoodfarm also raises beautiful AKC Champion German Shepherds, which have been bred here for over twenty five years. If you want to be added to the list, let us know. We currently are expecting a litter in late May, early June. Contact us for more information about this litter.

As a Mentoring Farm, we will continue that even when our female Alpacas are gone, Tanglewood provides help to anyone needing information about health care, training, housing, feeding, and general maintenance of alpacas, and dogs, and we do this free of charge. If you are looking for an alpaca package, let us know what you want, and we can put one together that suits you at a very affordable price. Make us an offer we can't refuse.

We will take monthly payments with zero percent interest for any of the alpacas you purchase from us that are listed at more than $500. . If you opt for this method of payment, we retain the ARI papers and the animal, until the animal(s) is/are paid in full.
